Today was a true girls’ day at school. Our girls put on new, clean, beautiful dresses and felt like real princesses. We continue our lessons on emotional and reproductive education.
Once a week, we organize an outdoor movie night for our students. One important condition is helping clean the school grounds: for each bag of collected trash, a child receives a real ticket and can attend our improvised open-air cinema.
Thanks to our teacher and volunteer Stacy, who has been with us for the second year, our children have started speaking, reading, and writing in English. Now it is even easier for us to understand each other, which allows us to support and help our students more effectively.

After three days of medical assessment and reviewing Jackson’s results, we decided that for the next few months he will remain under the supervision of our nurse Jennifer and follow a special nutrition plan. After illness, his weakened body requires proper care, a balanced diet, and medical support to recover.
A year ago, Joffrey was scheduled for a leg amputation due to osteomyelitis. But we did not give up and have been fighting the infection for a full year. Today’s X-ray shows that the condition of the bone is improving. In spring, we plan to travel for an MRI to further assess his progress.
Starting this year, we have officially added the Turkana language to the school curriculum. Now the children will learn to read and write in their native language — a skill that, unfortunately, many of their parents do not have.
